DID IT MYSELF

I have never been much of a DIY person. Not because the lack of interest, but because of the lack of faith in myself. I always thought I was too impatient, too busy and way too inaccurate. But when I got a sewing machine for christmas I decided to give it a shot, and oh did I prove myself wrong. This weekend I learned sewing, bought a pattern and several different fabrics, added a bit of a patience (yes, I actually proved to myself that I DO have some) and lots of help from my mom, and voila: Two new skirts in my wardrobe, for the cost of maximum 3 pounds a skirt.

I might not be Stella McCartney (just yet) but everyone has to start somewhere and I am SO proud of myself!
